Omaha at
Pacific Poker
The game of
Omaha is played with between 2 and 10 players. It is a fast poker game
that consists of 4 betting rounds. Each player receives 4 face-down cards
and there are 5 community cards on the table. Players create their best
poker hand with 2 of their 4 cards and 3 of the 5 community cards.
At
Pacific Poker a player that
wants to join the Omaha Poker Table is required to pay an initial fee,
equal to that of the Table's Lower Limit. Players have the option to sit
out and wait for the Big Blind to begin to play. The initial fee prevents
players from entering the game late in order to avoid placing Blind bets.

Summary Omaha Poker
Before any cards are dealt 2
initial bets are placed. These are the Small and Big Blind. They have the
value of half the Lower Limit and the Lower Limit of the poker table. The
first deal is the 4 facedown cards to all players. The first betting round
follows where the bet is set at the Lower Limit Stake of the table. The
second deal is 3 faceup community cards on the table. Another betting
round at Lower Limit Stake follows. Two more cards are dealt faceup on the
table. Each of the cards are followed by a betting round at the Higher
Limit Stake of the table. The Showdown is where all the players that are
left in the game compare their poker hands to see who is the winner of the
pot.
